Ram became its own truck brand in 2009, but plenty of folks still call them Dodge trucks, and we answer to both. We work on the Ram 1500 half-ton, the 2500 and 3500 heavy-duty trucks built to tow and haul, and the ProMaster and older Dodge vans. If you are driving a Dodge car like a Charger, Challenger, or Grand Caravan, we cover the Dodge side of the family too.

- Is a Ram the same as a Dodge?
- They split in 2009. Ram became the truck brand for the 1500, 2500, and 3500 pickups, while Dodge kept the cars and some vans. The trucks are mechanically the same lineage, so whether you call yours a Ram or a Dodge, we work on it. We service the Dodge cars and vans too.
- Do I have to take my Ram to the dealer for service?
- No. Routine maintenance and most repairs can be done at an independent shop like ours. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act means using us does not void your factory warranty as long as quality parts are used, which is what we install. The dealer is one option, not the only one.
- Will servicing my Ram here void the factory warranty?
- No, not for normal maintenance and repairs done with quality parts. Federal law protects your right to choose your shop. We give you the records and receipts to keep your warranty intact. If a repair is actually a covered warranty item, we will tell you so you can decide.
- Do you work on the Cummins diesel?
- Yes. We service the gas HEMI and V6 engines and work on the Cummins turbo diesel in the heavy-duty trucks. We have the diagnostic tools for a modern Ram and we service light and medium-duty trucks and vans. Tell us your engine and what it is doing and we will go from there.
- Can you diagnose a check engine light on my Ram?
- Yes. We read all stored and pending codes, then do hands-on testing to confirm the real cause instead of just swapping parts. We explain it plainly when we call with the estimate, and the scan is free if we do the repair.
- Can you get Ram and Dodge parts without the dealer?
- Yes. We source quality parts through our NAPA network and other suppliers and can get most Ram and Dodge parts quickly. For many repairs a quality replacement part is just as good as the dealer part, often for less. If a job calls for OEM, we will say so.
- Do you handle tires and alignment for a truck that tows or plows?
- Yes. Towing and plowing are hard on tires and alignment, so we match tires in the correct load range and set the alignment to spec for the way you use the truck. Getting both right protects your tires and the front end under load.
- Is an emissions test required for a Ram in Trumbull County?
- No. Trumbull County is not in Ohio's E-Check area, so there is no local emissions test requirement here. We can still scan and repair a check engine light on your Ram or Dodge.
