We are an independent, family-owned shop, not a Jeep dealer, and that suits most owners just fine. - Do I have to take my Jeep to the dealer for service?
- No. Routine maintenance and most repairs can be done at an independent shop like ours. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, using us does not void your factory warranty as long as quality parts are installed, which is exactly what we do. The dealer is one option, not the only one.
- Will servicing my Jeep here void the factory warranty?
- No, not for normal maintenance and repairs done with quality parts. Federal law protects your right to choose your own shop. We provide records and receipts so your warranty stays intact. If a problem is actually a covered warranty repair, we will tell you so you can decide.
- Can you align and set up a lifted Jeep with bigger tires?
- Yes. A lift and larger tires change the geometry, so we set the alignment to the correct spec and match tires in the right size and load range for how you drive. Mention the lift and any aftermarket suspension when you come in so we set it up properly.
- Do you work on the Wrangler and its four-wheel-drive system?
- Yes. The Wrangler is a regular at our shop. We handle its brakes, suspension, steering, cooling, exhaust, and tires, and we service the kinds of components that take a beating off-road and in the snow. Tell us how you use it and what it is doing.
- My Jeep's check engine light is on. Can you diagnose it?
- Yes. We read all stored and pending codes, then do hands-on testing to confirm the actual cause instead of guessing. You get a phone call with the answer in plain English and a written estimate, and the scan is free if we do the repair.
- Can you get Jeep parts without going to the dealer?
- Yes. We source quality parts through our NAPA network and other suppliers and can get most Jeep parts quickly. For many repairs a quality replacement part is every bit as good as the dealer part. If a job genuinely calls for OEM, we will tell you.
- Do Jeeps really need extra suspension and steering attention?
- If yours sees snow, mud, gravel, or trails, the suspension and steering wear faster than they would on pavement-only driving. It is not a defect, just the nature of how a Jeep gets used. We inspect those parts at service so worn components get caught early.
- Is an emissions test required for a Jeep in Trumbull County?
- No. Trumbull County is not in Ohio's E-Check area, so there is no local emissions test requirement here. We can still scan and repair a check engine light on your Jeep.
