Super Tire & Muffler has been on State Route 5 in Cortland since 1980. The Freemans have owned it since 2012. The name on the sign matches the person answering the phone.

The shop has been at the same address since before most of our customers got their driver's license. Through different owners, through the ups and downs of the local economy, it's stayed a working neighborhood shop: not a chain franchise, not a dealership service center, not an oil-change conveyor belt.
Rob Freeman took over ownership in 2012. The goal was simple: keep doing what the shop had always done well, add honesty to the process, and serve the community that had been driving through those doors for decades.
That means you get a straight answer about what your car needs, a written estimate you approve first, and a phone call if anything changes. We've found that's mostly what people want.

If we're recommending work, we explain why in plain English: the worn part, the failed component, the measurement that's out of spec. You make the call with full information.
Estimate first, always.
You approve a written estimate, then the work begins. If something unexpected comes up midway through a job, we stop and call. The final bill matches the approved estimate.
Only what you need.
We don't sell service intervals that aren't due, we don't recommend parts that aren't worn, and we don't pressure. This is a small town. Our reputation is the business.
