- Can I switch from conventional to synthetic oil?
- Yes, you can switch either direction at any time. The old idea that you cannot is a myth. Many older engines actually benefit from synthetic. We will let you know if your vehicle specifically requires synthetic, as some do.
- What happens if I do not change my oil?
- Old oil turns to sludge and stops protecting the engine, which leads to accelerated wear and, eventually, expensive damage. Skipping changes is the most common way people shorten an engine's life. A routine change is a tiny fraction of that cost.
- Do you check anything else during an oil change?
