- Do I have to go to a Chevy dealer for service?
- No. You can have routine maintenance and most repairs done at an independent shop like ours. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, using us does not void your factory warranty as long as quality parts are used, and that is what we install. The dealer is just one option, not the only one.
- Will servicing my Chevy here void the warranty?
- No, not for normal maintenance and repairs done with quality parts. Federal law protects your right to choose your shop. We give you records and receipts so your warranty stays intact. If something turns out to be a covered warranty repair, we will point that out so you can decide.
- Do you do Silverado and truck repair?
- Yes. Trucks are a major part of our work, and the Silverado is one we see constantly. We handle brakes, suspension, steering, cooling, exhaust, and tires on half-ton through heavy-duty trucks. We service light and medium-duty trucks and vans.
- Can you work on the Duramax diesel and the V8s?
- Yes. We service Chevy's gas V6 and V8 engines and work on diesel trucks as well. We have the diagnostic tools to read a modern GM and the experience to fix it. Let us know your engine and the symptoms and we will take it from there.
- My Chevy's check engine light came on. Can you help?
- Yes. We read all stored and pending codes, then do the hands-on testing to confirm the actual cause rather than guessing. We explain it plainly over the phone and give you a written estimate, and the scan is free if we do the repair.
- Can you get Chevy parts without going to the dealer?
- Yes. We source quality parts through our NAPA network and other suppliers and can get most GM parts quickly. A quality replacement part is usually every bit as good as the dealer part for many repairs. If a job genuinely calls for OEM, we will tell you.
- Is an emissions test required for a Chevy in Trumbull County?
- No. Trumbull County is not in Ohio's E-Check area, so there is no local emissions test here. We can still scan and repair a check engine light on your Chevy.
- Do you service older Chevys and the discontinued cars?
- Yes. We have worked on Chevys since 1980, including the older trucks and cars like the Malibu, Cruze, and Impala. Bring yours in and we will give you an honest read on what it needs.
